We cut lots into mountainsides through the Ogden and Cache valleys, and we supply industrial operations by the hundred thousand tons. A single specimen stone set by hand, or a production rate held for months without a gap — same company, same pits, same standard.

Over 700,000 tons of aggregate supplied for evaporation pond construction, delivered across nine months. At that volume the job stops being about material and becomes a logistics problem — holding a production rate for the better part of a year without a gap, keeping gradation consistent across every load, and putting trucks on site to a schedule that cannot slip. Owning the reserve and running our own plant is what makes a commitment that size something we can sign for.

White Rock

Beneath the North Ogden Divide · Phases 1–4

We were the third excavation contractor brought onto this project. The first two couldn’t finish it, and the ground is the reason. Four phases sit directly below the North Ogden Divide on land that was covered by a landslide in the 1990s — and the slide had buried existing utility lines far deeper than any record showed, some of them sixty feet down. Nothing could be cut until everything had been found. Months of discovery and prep went in ahead of the first real excavation, and the work was built around what was actually in the ground rather than what the drawings claimed. Four phases delivered.

Lone Cedar

Hyde Park, Utah · Phases 1–3 · Ongoing

Full development of a mountainside subdivision, carried from raw ground to finished lots. On grade this steep the excavation and the retaining have to advance together — the bank is never left unsupported between phases, and the wall goes up as fast as the cut opens.

Phase three is starting now: 180,000 cubic yards of material to move, processed on site and put back into the development rather than hauled off and replaced. Four years on the same hillside and still going.

Weber Basin Water District

South Weber pit · Contract crushing

Forty thousand tons crushed in the district’s own South Weber pit. We moved the full train in for it — jaw, cone, screen and stackers running together. The cone is what separates a spread like this from a simple crush: it shapes the product and tightens the gradation, so what comes off the far end actually meets spec rather than just being smaller than it was.

Durfee Creek Estates

North Fork, Ogden Valley, Utah

Site prep and wall setting for an estate build worked into a hillside. Ground like this has to be shaped before anything can be built on it, and the walls that hold that shape are the part nobody gets to redo later — so the stone goes in as carefully as the pad gets cut.

Washakie Renewable Energy · Biodiesel processing facility

Forty-eight thousand tons of rail ballast supplied for the rail serving the Washakie Renewable Energy biodiesel processing facility. Ballast is an unforgiving product — it has to hold gradation and angularity load after load, because the track sitting on it does not tolerate variation from one stretch to the next.
